Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father’s name is Mr. Sanjeev Kumar and my mother’s name is Mrs. Nutan Saxena. My father is a teacher in an H.P. state government school and teaches S.St and English from 6th to 10th standard. My mother is a teacher in JNV and holds the post of TGT Hindi. Both of my parents like to help their students. My maternal uncle’s name is Sumit Saxena and he is a cashier in Union Bank.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I should be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship because I believe that I can make the best use of the resources provided by Dakshana. I can polish my skills and show my talent. I will work hard so that I can meet the expectations set by Dakshana.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition in life is to become a mechanical engineer and contribute to society and the world by innovating new things and ideas. I also want to provide a good lifestyle for my hardworking family.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
I would like to contribute to society by innovating new things and designs that will be helpful for people. I would like to solve problems of poor people by finding appropriate solutions. By this, I hope to contribute to the development of society.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
When I came to Navodaya, I realized that there is extreme competition in life, and hard work is the only thing that helps you. The teachers were very good and taught us the importance of education, motivating us to study well and do good for society. From then, I have been motivated to work hard and achieve my goals.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
Watching documentaries and cycling are my hobbies. My main interest is in machines. I am always curious about them—from small things like click pens to large-scale airliners and engines.
