Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father's name is Umakant Honrao. He is a government teacher. My mother's name is Varsha Honrao. She is a private school teacher. I don't have any siblings. Due to some family problems, my mother and I live apart from my father. My mother is very hardworking. She works to teach me.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I want to serve my nation and work in the nuclear field. I am interested in working in DRDO and increasing the efficiency of nuclear power plants. As I need education, the Dakshana scholarship will help me a lot. If I am not selected in Dakshana, I will continue my study in my parent JNV.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition in life is to work in the Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO).

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I become successful, I will serve society by doing some innovations. Also, I will contribute some of my earnings to Dakshana and other foundations and help society and India to achieve great heights.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
As I don't have my father's help and love, my mother always tries hard to provide me with a good life. My mother always motivates and inspires me to do good work and study.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
My interest is in the nuclear field of science. I want to do research in it. I also love to play cricket and handball.
