Dakshana

The Department of Science & Technology started a program ‘Vigyan Jyoti’ for meritorious girls with the aim to address the underrepresentation of women in different fields of Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) in the country. The NVS is the implementation partner of Vigyan Jyoti. This year 100 JNVs are acting as ‘Vigyan Jyoti Knowledge Centre’s to cater to girls from JNVs, KVs, Govt. schools, army schools of small cities, and rural areas for more diversity in STEM.

Dakshana is offering online classes to 1742 students from 36 districts (JNVs + Non-JNV schools) under Pune, Lucknow, and Shillong Region.
