Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father's name is Goutam Nayek. He is a farmer. My mother's name is Namita Nayek. She is a housewife. My brother's name is Arbind Nayek. He is a student studying in class 9 in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Paschim Medinipur. My mama is also a farmer. I used to live in my mama's house.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I have been awarded the Dakshana Scholarship because I deserve it. Dakshana is for talented students from poor backgrounds who cannot afford higher studies, and I am one of them.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition in life is to fulfill my parents’ dreams and make them proud.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I become successful, first of all, I want to help poor students who cannot focus much on their studies, just like Dakshana helped me. I also want to help others with jobs and open an NGO to support needy people.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
There are many incidents in my life, but the most motivating one is that I didn’t get support from my family members except my parents. So I stayed at my maternal uncle’s house. I feel responsible for their happiness and want to contribute to their growth.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
My hobbies are spending time with my family and friends, reading storybooks, and singing.
