Vivek Jatav
JNV Ashoknagar Madhya Pradesh I'd like to become a Dakshana scholar and hopefully attend IIT
Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
There are five members in my family. My father is a farmer on his own land. My mother is a housewife. I have one elder brother and one elder sister, and they both are studying at present. My sister has recently passed class 12th one year ago, and my brother passed class 12th five years ago. He was preparing for competitive exams. I have one chacha who is also a farmer. I have two mamas; one of them works in the field for his livelihood, while the other was badly injured in an accident.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
As per the code of conduct, I first became eligible to appear for the Dakshana Scholarship Exam, and then I passed it. Since the financial condition of my family is not so strong that I can afford paid batches and offline classes, Dakshana provided these facilities to me for free. If I were not selected for Dakshana, I would have continued my studies at my previous JNV. I would have tried to prepare well there also.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
As a human and an Indian, I would like to serve humanity and my country. I would like to give my best in upgrading technology. I want to make India a peaceful and advanced civilization so that people can have both peace and technological advantages.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
If I become successful, I would like to spread awareness about the pros and cons of scientific equipment. I would like to make all people in our society aware of their children's education along with their holistic development. If I become successful in building my own company, I will help people who really need help through some financial means.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
There is no specific incident that inspired or motivated me to do better, but my family and my parents are my inspiration. I am able to do better compared to my previous performances because whenever I became a dominant student at any place, I had to leave that place — not by my own choice, but due to selection to another better place. This is the most positive thing in my life.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
My interests lie in many activities. I am an average cricket player and an average painter. I also love to play the harmonium and flute but haven’t learned them properly.
