JNV Palakkad I'd like to become a Dakshana scholar and hopefully attend IIT
I'd like to become a Dakshana Scholar and hopefully attend IIT because I am sure that my parents cannot help me in fulfilling all my aspirations, with the limited resources they possess. Of course, they give motivation to me, and procure all the study materials I require. I know how much they are struggling to do so. The only way in which I can help them is buy, studying well, and procuring a good job. If I can get into IIT, the most reputed Indian Institute, I will get two advantages, first is that I can get quality education, that my parents, and myself has always aspired for. Second is that it will, me good job. And then I can help my parents, and my community. But, there arised a question. How can my parents, with a meagre income, provide me the costly, IIT-JEE, coaching?
Then I wrote ?Dakshana? Scholarship, without actually knowing, much about it. I wrote it for the very simple reason that it promised students, to impart high quality coaching to them. I was thrilled over whelmed, when I heard that, I was one among the many fortunate students, - the Dakshana scholars. I am determined, to study well here, using all the resource, that Dakshana provides me efficiently and effectively, to appear for IIT-JEE 2010.
Now, after my two weeks of stay at Bangalore, as a ?Dakshana Scholar?, I realises, how much ?Dakshana? is committed to the student community like us. I was really wondered, when I see the bage bundle of books, that Dakshana provides for its students. Its commitment itself is a motivation, for us to study well, and fulfil all our dreams, and in turn make the efforts of Dakshana fruitful. If I become a beneficiary of Dakshana, how can I forget about the many gifted but impoverished students, of India. It won?t be mine promises, but surely, I will make it into practise.
