Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father is an NRI. My mother is a housewife, but she works hard to meet all our needs by doing small-scale cultivation. I have a brother who is in class 9 and very good at sports. My uncle, my father’s elder brother, is not mentally well. My grandmother is in her 60s. We live in our grandmother’s house, and my parents’ biggest dream is to build a house for us. Right now, our life is going well.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I wanted to take a one-year drop and study for JEE. I did not expect to be selected, so I had already planned to join one of the best colleges in my state. I wrote the entrance exam and scored well, so there is a good chance I can get a good college in Kerala. But when I got this opportunity, I chose Dakshana because I believe that being here will help me learn more, become disciplined, and improve myself for the future.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
I don’t want much—just a peaceful life with enough money. My parents’ biggest dream is to build our own house, so one of my dreams is to build a good home for us. I want to be successful and financially stable. After getting a job and balancing my background, I want to start a business. As a Navodayan, I rarely get time with my parents, so I want a good life with them.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
After becoming successful, I will deliver public speeches to motivate people to live a peaceful life. I will also make people aware of the need for parenting skills so that the next generation can have a good childhood and future. I will also contribute towards protecting nature.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
All I am inspired by is my 10th board marks. When I performed below my level, it made me feel very down. Then I found myself, and now every day I am trying to improve myself. The biggest thing is the sacrifices made by my parents. They give me everything—the best they can. So, I also need to give them the best life. In my life, each person teaches me an important lesson, and many of them motivate me to achieve success.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I like sports. I like to run, do exercise and play different games. I also like to talk a lot. I like to read books and I have good interest in astronomy and space things.
