Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father is a very gentle, hardworking person who rarely takes a day off from his work. He has put all his effort into providing me with a better education. My mother is the most loving person to me. She is very religious and always cares about me. I have two sisters, both pursuing higher education.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
Because I have worked hard to get this scholarship. Dakshana provides the best pathway to achieve my goal of studying at IIT. If I am not selected for this scholarship, I shall continue studying in my parent JNV and try to get into IIT.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
The ambition of my life is to become an engineer who will create something new that has never been done before.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I become successful, I will continue the legacy of Dakshana and help poor students overcome their financial obstacles. I would also like to help old people who have no home.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
When I was taken on a tour in class 9 in Vaishali, a little child came to us asking for money. I gave him money but asked why he didn’t go to school and study instead. His unexpected reply that he was forced to do so shook me. I realized that some people don’t have access to education, while those who do aren’t serious. I also realized how hard my father works for me. From then, I was inspired to do better.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I am interested in exploring new things, understanding how various tools and machines work. I like to read science-related updates from magazines.
