JNV Chandrapur Maharashtra I'd like to become a Dakshana Scholar and hopefully attend Medical College
Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
Hi, I am Suyog Meshram. I am from the village Khatoda. My father, Sunil Meshram, is a farmer who works hard for my better future. We do not have our own land, so we take land on lease and farm on it. My mother is a housewife and is very strict about my studies. She wants me to be a successful person. I have two elder sisters who are studying in government colleges and always support me. I have three uncles, and they also do farming. My mama works in a factory in Chandrapur and visits us during festivals. We have five members in our home, including me.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I should be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship because I want to study MBBS and become a doctor, but my family cannot afford coaching fees. Dakshana helps needy students like me. I need this scholarship to enhance my capabilities and get a good medical college. I want to help others and support my family financially. If I am not selected, I will try my best to self-study and appear for NEET, giving my best to get a medical college.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
I aim to become a doctor. I want to be a successful person and a responsible member of society. I want to help others and support my family financially. I want to make a better society. I am going to make a good place for my parents to live because they supported and educated me, and that’s why I am here. So I am also going to support them till the end.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
If I become successful, I will help those people who are really needy. I will build a hospital where poor and deprived people will get the best treatment free of cost. I want to save lives so that I can help create a good society. First of all, I will start with my village and provide the best facilities for treatment. I will also set up medical camps in villages to examine and help people. I will give medical advice free of cost with full medical support. I will certainly make my family proud.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
When I was in 7th class, I saw my mother and father working in the farm. I understood their problems to teach three of us. I understood that our financial condition was not good. That day I decided that I will work hard and do my best to support my family. It inspired me to work hard and not give up on my aim.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I am a good wrestler. I also play table tennis and volleyball. I like to draw nature and anime characters. I am interested in studying cancer and developmental biology. I watch anime; their stories always inspire me to not give up and try hard to achieve my aim.
