Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
I have a nuclear family of six members—my father, mother, elder sister, younger sister, younger brother, and me. My father is a labourer and fond of listening to music. My mother is a homemaker and likes going to Gurudwara Sahib. My elder sister is studying B.Com under a scholarship at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar (Punjab). My younger sister is studying in 10th class at a village school, and my brother is studying in 6th class. Both my sisters love playing harmonium, and my brother enjoys cricket, other games, and watching cartoons.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
Dakshana Scholarship is mainly for poor and needy students who cannot afford coaching. I also belong to such a family. My parents cannot afford coaching fees, and Dakshana is the perfect platform to help us fulfill our dreams. If I am not selected, I have no idea what I will do next.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition is to become a doctor in the Army by getting admission into the Armed Forces Medical College, Pune. I will fulfill my parents’ desire as well as my own.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
I would like to contribute to my society after becoming a successful person. I will open my own hospital in my village and help the people who can’t pay hospital bills.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
There is no such incident in my life that motivated me, but I was self-motivated by seeing my parents’ struggles. I also had a teacher who inspired me throughout school. My parents work very hard for us, and it motivates me to do better. It is my responsibility to make them proud.

I am interested in playing football, playing Harmonium, reading novels, and listening to music.
