Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father's name is Mr. Biswajit Barman. He is a farmer on his own land and works hard for our family. He fulfills my wishes and does his best for my studies. He is the only earning member in our family. My mother’s name is Mrs. Swapna Barman, and she is a housewife who takes care of our family. My elder brother’s name is Suraj Barman, and he is a student.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
Dakshana identifies students based on talent and certain criteria. I fulfill those criteria, which is why I am awarded. My dream is to become a doctor, and this opportunity is helpful for me. If I am not selected, I will start self-study and prepare for NEET through YouTube lectures to fulfill my dream.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition in life is to become the best doctor in India so that my parents feel proud of me. I also want to serve my country by helping needy people. I also aim to buy a car and a big house.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I become successful, I plan to open a hospital in my village because there is no hospital there. In emergency cases, people suffer a lot due to long travel distances. If I open a hospital, people will be benefited. If I become successful enough, I will also contribute at the world level while representing my country, India.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
One day I was going home from school in a train. Many old men and women with small children were travelling in the crowded train. I saw them and got motivated to do something in life so that I can help them. I am also inspired by my mother and father. By achieving my goal as a doctor, I want to give them the feeling of being proud.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
My hobby is playing cricket in my free time. I am also interested in watching movies with friends, listening to music to relax, and seeing the beauty of nature when my mood is off.
