Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
Hey, This is Soumya Gour. My father Mr. Sukhdev Gour is a farmer.My mother Mrs. Sadhna Gour is a housewife. My sister Mrs.Surbhi Gour is married. My immediate uncles are also farmers.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I had worked hard to crack the JDST exam and I thought it is the best way for me to prepare for JEE and them ease my family's living. I would rather take any college that i got in this year's counseling on the basis of my JEE score if I am not selected as a Dakshana scholar.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
I want to become a web developer and want to create new technologies that will help human life to be better. I also want to earn lots of money to give my parents every facility that they had sacrificed just because of my education and bright future.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
I will donate money to NGO and other organizations that are doing work to improvise the rural life and education for rural children.Navodaya had given me a lot and I would surely give back to Navodaya.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
Most inspiring incident of my life is to not get selected in NDST 2020. That has surely brought out a new version of myself. That was like an eye-opener for me and motivated me to become better and better with each upcoming day.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I love to play cricket. It is more like a passion than like a hobby or me.
