JNV Patna Bihar I'd like to become a Dakshana scholar and hopefully attend IIT
Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father used to do iron work in a shop in the past, but now he does only farming. He is a well-disciplined man, and I learn much from him. My mother sometimes works as a tailor to earn money but is mostly unemployed. My mother works more than she talks, and I learn that from her. My brother is like God and my best friend. My uncles also do iron work, and my maternal uncle has a garage. It’s all because I belong to a blacksmith family.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I should be awarded the Dakshana scholarship because I work and study hard for it. I will be a productive student for Dakshana.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
I give my best in every field, including sports, so I don’t yet know my main interest. I want to crack JEE Advanced and go to the best college. After that, I will get a platform and exposure, then decide my career and ambition in life.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
In my village, there is no IITian or any such successful person, and most people think these goals are unachievable. I want to be an inspiration for the youth of my village and guide them as a counselor. In this way, I will erase the conservative thinking in my village.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
I studied for JNV in class 5, and I had no hope of getting selected because of a lack of guidance. After getting selected, I realized that if anyone works hard, success will come — maybe late, but it will come. That’s my main motivation.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I enjoy playing football and writing stories or poems, sometimes like songs. I like spending time with friends.
