Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father's name is Arup Ahir. He is a farmer. My mother's name is Subarna Ahir. She is a housewife. I have a younger brother named Satyajit Ahir, who is currently studying in Class XI.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I should be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship because this scholarship targets those who cannot complete their studies due to lack of resources. I am one of them. I am an impoverished student who aspires to attend a premier medical college but cannot afford coaching from a world-class institute. My economic condition is not good, which is why I cannot spend money on top institutes to fulfil my dream of becoming a doctor, improving my family’s condition, and contributing to our country’s medical system. If I am not allowed to become a Dakshana Scholar, then I will continue my NEET preparation through online study.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My dream is to get a seat in AIIMS for my MBBS degree by cracking NEET 2026 with a top rank and score. After that, I want to complete my MD degree in Cardiology. I also want to add “Dr.” as a prefix before my name and “From AIIMS…” as a suffix.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
As I belong to an economically weak background, after becoming successful I will help poor people and try to improve their living conditions. When I become a doctor, I will help them by providing better treatment, especially those who cannot afford it due to financial hardship. I will also help students who cannot fulfill their aspirations because of lack of money. I will do my very best to ensure that no student’s education stops due to financial problems.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
There is no such specific incident that motivates me. My parents are my motivation. They always inspire me, support my studies, and provide whatever resources they can. Even their silent wishes push me forward.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
My hobby is gardening. I am interested in reading and listening to scientific facts about various incidents. I also like to collect information about day-to-day events occurring in our country.
