Shristi Sanyasi
Prayas Residential School Ambikapur Chhattisgarh I'd like to become a Dakshana scholar and hopefully attend IIT
Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My name is Shristi Sanyasi. My father’s name is Mr. Abhimanyu Sanyasi, and my mother’s name is Mrs. Rahila Bai. We are four siblings. The eldest is my sister Nisha Sanyasi. My younger sister, Anchal Sanyasi, is currently studying in class 10 (JNV). My younger brother, Gaurav Sanyasi, is in class 7. My elder sister studied computer science after completing class 12. Six members live in my house.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
If I do not get this scholarship, I will not prepare for JEE because my family cannot afford coaching. To pursue engineering, I will appear for my state's PET exam. If I get selected, I will study engineering through that.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
I want to be successful in life, whether in engineering or another field. I just want to become someone for whom my mother never feels sad, and I never have to bow down to anyone. I want to give my first priority to my mother because what she has done for me, no one else has.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I become successful, I would like to meet my family members, especially my mother. After that, I want to improve the condition of the school in my village so that children can get good education. I want to provide them all the information and facilities needed to become successful because in most rural areas, people are unaware of these things. I want every rural child to get good education, do something great, and help develop our country.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
Seeing the condition of my house, I decided that I have to do something. After that, when I went to Prayash School in class 9, the teacher there told me about engineering. After that, I thought of doing engineering. Also, my mother has full faith in me that I will definitely do something. The ones who motivate me are my teacher and my mother.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
My hobbies are studying, playing, drawing, taking care of friends, dancing and listening to songs. I also like to travel, learn new things and am interested in reading Vedas and Puranas like the Bhagavad Gita.
