Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father’s name is Skhini Ram. He is a driver. My mother’s name is Saroj Kumari and she is a housewife. My father likes travelling to new places and my mother likes visiting religious places. We live in a nuclear family and I have a younger brother named Aditya Kapoor. My maternal uncle is an army officer and my paternal uncle is also a driver. There are four members in our home—my father, mother, brother, and me. Our uncle lives separately with our grandparents.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I should be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship because I have goals that require cracking the IIT JEE exam. I belong to a poor family, and my family cannot afford coaching fees. Dakshana has given me a golden chance to fulfil my dreams. I can work hard, and I have cleared the Dakshana Scholarship test. If I am not selected, I will find another way to achieve my goals.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
I have lived my younger life in poverty and watched my parents struggle. I want to upgrade our living standard and help other people upgrade theirs. I want to be successful and rich because those who start with nothing want to accomplish something through effort.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I become successful in life, I will contribute to society in such a way that my efforts impact many people. I will donate to NGOs and charities. Through my work, I will try to create a positive image of India in the world and contribute to its development. I will also start my own organization to support the people around my society.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
When I was depressed in my life, I was watching an anime named Black Clover. The main protagonist inspired me with his dialogues: “Even if I’m not the chosen one, even if I’m not the smartest or strongest compared to others, it doesn’t matter. I can’t run away from my responsibilities. I have done some wrong things in the past, but it doesn’t matter — I can change everything through my hard work, because people are responsible for their own circumstances.” These lines inspire me daily because hard work beats talent.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
Drawing, painting, animation, and gaming are my interests.
