I'd like to become a Dakshana Scholar and hopefully attend IIT because I want that people from my village also move forward in the field of education by looking at others and my village becomes educated. For me it was not important that I only become IITian. I would like to do something that helps people and are happy with me.
But when I got selected in Dakshana then I changed my intention and started thinking about IIT only as it is the biggest engineering institution of India. If I become an IITian so that children from my village will learn something from me and they will pay attention to studies. 90% of the people from my village are uneducated. To increase the number of educated people in my village, I would like to help the students of my village by becoming a big man.
