I'd like to become a Dakshana Scholar and hopefully attend IIT because I want to serve my duty to my nation. I want to be a Dakshana scholar because its my belief that it will help me to achieve my goal. For me and childrens like me, who belongs to very poor family and are unable to study in higher institutions. Dakshana is providing a golden chance to prove ourselves and to do something for our country and our countrymen.
I, as a dakshana scholar will always try to use the opportunity given to me and if I complete my IIT, I shall try to help the other poor children?s also.
When I was a very young child my parents used to tell me the stories of the student who ever got selected in any institution or any other good school.
Since now their is no Engineer in my village, I want to set an example for my village people so that they can understand the importance of education in life.
In my village generally people send their children school only for some lower classes and then they send them abroad to earn money, but I want the people to change this mentality.
That is why I want to be a Dakshana as well as IIT Scholar.
