Satish Singh Maravi
EMRS Narrainala Jabalpur Madhya Pradesh I'd like to become a Dakshana Scholar and hopefully attend Medical college
Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My family is a middle class family. My father is already a farmer. My mother is a housewife and my elder sister is currently studying in college. My father is a civilized, religious and disciplined person, so he does not like any work that is undisciplined. My mother likes her work and my elder sister teaches me well. My aunt also always treats me like a friend.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I also had a dream to study further and become a good doctor and in our school there was a selection test of Dakshana Coaching in which I also appeared for the exam and got selected which further strengthened my courage for my dream of becoming a doctor and after getting selected I am preparing well for the NEET exam here. If I had not been selected in Dakshana, I would have studied in my old school but I would have probably kept my dream of becoming a doctor a dream and my family would have continued my studies further.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
I had a desire to become a good doctor for a long time, but after being selected in Dakshana, this desire of mine has increased even more and I am working hard to fulfill it. After becoming a doctor, I also want to work as a good social worker and I want to help those who want to work financially and those who are not able to get proper treatment due to financial constraints.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I become a good and successful doctor after completing my studies, I will encourage the children studying around me, in my village and the children of my relatives and tell them to study well. I will also help those people in society who cannot get proper treatment. I will also contribute to all the organizations that help the helpless people so that they can help more people well.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
I have an acquaintance who is like a mother to me who is preparing for UPSE. Even after 2 years, he failed in it and he also had a dream of becoming an IAS but he could not achieve it and he left it. On the insistence of his family, he gave the exam to become SDM and got selected in the first attempt itself and he is happy now. This teaches me that one should never run after only one thing in life which you are probably ignoring and you will get some good destination for your life.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
Although I like studying the most. But apart from this, I am interested in many other things. I like singing, dancing, and also participating in various school cultural and sports activities.
