Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
I live in a nuclear family. There are five members in my family—my father, my mother, me, and my two younger sisters. My father is a private employee, and my mother is a housewife. My younger sister is in grade 12 (Commerce), and the youngest one is in grade 5. My tauji passed away during Covid, and my taiji is a housewife. My youngest mama works in a shop, and my other two mamas are private employees.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I should be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship because I believe I can fulfil Dakshana’s expectations. If not selected, I would join a library and buy online subscriptions. Opportunities like Dakshana are rare, and even rejection would only make me stronger.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition is to use my education to bring positive change to society. I want to be independent and help those in need so that others do not suffer the way my family did due to lack of money.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I become successful, I want to use my knowledge and skills to solve real-world problems, especially those affecting underprivileged communities. I believe success is not only personal achievement but also creating opportunities for others and leaving a positive impact. I know I may not be able to help everyone, but I will help the ones I meet in my life. I want to inspire others to dream bigger and work toward a world where success is measured by the positive change we bring. I hope to be a mentor and role model for future generations.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
One incident that deeply motivated me happened when I was in grade 10. I overheard my parents discussing their struggles to provide for our family. Their worries about my future hurt me deeply. I realized how much they believed in me and how much they were depending on me. Since that day, I became determined to make them proud. Their sacrifices drive me to face every challenge and work hard to achieve my goals so that their dreams through me are fulfilled.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I have a variety of interests and hobbies that help me stay motivated, creative, and focused. I am very interested in Biology and fascinated by how living organisms function and adapt. I enjoy reading mystery and crime novels. I’m also passionate about music—I play the flute and recently started learning guitar. Music helps me express myself and stay balanced. I also enjoy writing poetry, which allows me to reflect on my thoughts and emotions. Overall, my hobbies reflect my curiosity, creativity, and desire to grow both academically and artistically.
