Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Tetelenga I'd like to become a Dakshana Scholar and hopefully attend Medical College
Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father is 44 years old and works very hard to meet the needs of my family. My family has only one member with a government job. My mother is 36 years old and works throughout the day till late at night, from cleaning the house to washing plates late at night. My brother is now studying in Class 10. My family also has my 80+ year-old grandfather and 70+ year-old grandmother. My father has five sisters, so we have a huge family. Many responsibilities fall on my father, and he works hard to lift up our condition.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I think I should be awarded as a Dakshana Scholar as my family is very weak in supporting my studies. If I was not selected here, then in the next 3 to 4 years I think I would have studied in a local college or become a helping hand to meet family needs. I thank this program a lot for helping me uphold my dreams and do something for my family.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
I want to lead a life with freedom in all aspects, especially financially. I am also interested in planting as many trees as possible, helping poor people, and spreading awareness about good things.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
My contribution will depend on the level of my success. I am confident that I will contribute the maximum from my side, especially in terms of education and social support.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
The worst situation was when my father met with an accident. I was very scared, and I felt the responsibility of bringing my family out of that situation.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I love to play most outdoor games. My favorite is cricket. I also love to play football, volleyball, and badminton. I believe in being healthy, doing exercise, and adopting good habits.
