JNV Kangra Himachal Pradesh I'd like to become a Dakshana scholar and hopefully attend IIT
Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
Starting with my father, Mr. Mohinder Kumar. His age is about 55 years. He is the greatest tutor for me. From my childhood to now, he has gifted me various personal skills. He has worked in many private companies in Noida and Gurugram as a computer and networking engineer. For me as a son, he likes when I do my best in life. Every achievement of mine makes him happy. Now talking about my mother—her name is Mrs. Manju Kapoor and her age is 48. Like all mothers, she is the most loving and humble soul for me. She has served my family as a housewife throughout her life. She always motivates me to achieve more and never leaves me alone in my highs or lows. I am a single son, and I have three sisters. My elder sister, Manvi Kapoor, works in the medical field. My other sisters, Tanvi and Riya, are students. All these people are an infinite source of motivation for me.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
Recognizing my own potential, I feel the Dakshana Scholarship can act as a catalyst in my career. That is why this scholarship should be awarded to me. If I am not selected as a Dakshana Scholar, I will continue my preparation with full dedication and hard work. As I said, Dakshana is just a catalyst; I will still achieve my goal.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My life is full of ambitions, but as per my interests I want to become a software developer and study at India’s most prestigious college, IIT. My aim is to give my parents all the happiness and comfort they deserve.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
Understanding the problems faced by bright students from typical middle-class or poor families in India, I want to help these students once I become successful.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
Nothing inspired me in my life. The only unending source of motivation and inspiration is my parents and family, who always encourage me to do my best in life.
