Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father’s name is Sanjay Kumar Ravi. He is a farmer as well as a daily wage worker. His income is the main source of support for our family. My mother’s name is Urmila Devi, and she is a housewife. We have six members including me. I have two elder sisters and one younger sister. My elder sister, Priti Kumari, got married last year after completing graduation. My other elder sister, Priya Kumari, completed her graduation this year. My younger sister, Riya Kumari, is completing Class 12 (ISC) from a government school this year. My uncle drives a rented car for a living.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I don’t belong to a financially stable family. There are six members in my family, and my father’s income is the main source of earning. It is not sufficient for stationery, school fees, grocery, and daily expenses. If I am not selected in Dakshana, then I will prepare for NEET through self-study and online lectures. Thanks to Dakshana for giving this opportunity.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
Currently, my ambition in life is to crack NEET 2026, get into the best medical college for MBBS, and further complete my PG degree. Then I want to earn money and donate a part of my income to Dakshana. Mainly, I want to live happily with my family and do something for my country.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
I would like to contribute to society and the world by donating a part of my income to NGOs that help poor and physically disabled students. When I become a doctor, I will help those sick people who cannot afford treatment and medical expenses.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
In December 2023, my family faced many problems during my elder sister’s marriage. We collected money from relatives and neighbors, but no one helped us. We had to take a loan of 3 lakh from the bank, which we are repaying in EMIs. Watching my family scared and struggling, even for my school fees, motivates me to study harder.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
My interest is to learn many things. I am very interested in learning geopolitics, India’s trade relations, reading books and novels. I want to learn about India’s problems and solutions. Being fit and healthy is also one of my hobbies.
