Rajveer Kaur
Saragarhi Memorial Meritorious School Ferozepur I'd like to become a Dakshana Scholar and hopefully attend Medical College
Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My family consists of my father, mother, and younger siblings. My father works in the travelling business as a driver, and he loves travelling. My mother is a housewife and manages small sewing work. Both my siblings still go to school. My brother loves football, and my sister enjoys dancing.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I know I am an average student, but the thing that differentiates me is my perseverance—the ability to continue even at my lowest and finish the work I start. I think that is what Dakshana expects from a scholar. If I am not selected, I will probably take online classes for my NEET preparation.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
I want to become a good doctor. I wish people would tell my father that he is lucky to have a daughter like me. I just want my family to be happy and proud of me.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
While deciding to be a doctor, I always knew that no one can do the work that a doctor does. It is the most compassionate profession. From a young age, I could empathize with people around me and always had an instinct to help them. So after becoming successful, I would like to provide free healthcare facilities to people.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
There is no specific incident that motivated me till now, but my father has always been my biggest motivation. I look up to him. He guides me in every way he can and provides everything I need, even if it is out of his reach. He is my biggest supporter and always inspires me to become a better person.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
Talking about my interests, I like dancing and designing. Both calm me and rejuvenate my energy when I am stressed out.
