Rahul Sagar
JNV Bareilly Uttar Pradesh I'd like to become a Dakshana scholar and hopefully attend IIT
Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
Namaskar, my father’s name is Rajesh Kumar. He is a farmer. My mother’s name is Geeta Devi. She is a housewife. I am happy with my family, and we all like peace.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I should be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship because it will push me toward my dream of having a successful career as an engineer, and also becoming a good social reformer. If I am not selected, I will face many obstacles while preparing for JEE Advanced, but I will not accept defeat. I will put in 100% effort to crack the exam.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition in life is to become a successful person. Everyone has a unique mindset that fits into a specific category. I want to work in society as a good social reformer.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
I would like to contribute to society by motivating people to treat every child equally — with no discrimination on the basis of gender or physical challenges. Education is a powerful weapon by which we can win everywhere. I think this is the best way to reform society.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
I don’t know exactly why, but I know my parents are the best givers in this world. They have spent 18+ years of their life for my growth and development without expecting anything from me. My parents fulfill all my needs while keeping their own needs aside. This motivates me to become a source of support for my parents so they can feel relaxed.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I like to play volleyball and read philosophical books. In my free time, I like gardening and have a love for music which refreshes my mind. I never feel complete joy, but the hope to feel it someday keeps me happy and makes me smile.
