I'd like to become a Dakshana Scholar and hopefully attend IIT because I belong to a poor family who live in Purnea district of Bihar. My father is a private worker and my mother is a housewife. I came to know about Dakshana foundation from some of my seniors when I was in 9th class. I has Engineering as my burning desire from the very beginning and therefore worried that my family will not able to support my further studies after class 10th. These days the admission to the IITs, the most prestigious engineering colleges of India is very challenging and we are clueless about its preparation without any proper mentoring and coaching. The coaching institutes ask for a huge amount of money that is almost impossible to pay for poor students like me. In a such traumatical condition, Dakshana foundation appeared to me as a ray of hope. I hope that If I got selected to Dakshana, I can also get selected to IITs with regular efforts and hard work. A hope that I can end up the poverty of my parents and pay to their hardships and a hope that I can also become a helping hand to millions of poor students like me who can?t bear their higher education and coaching expenses. Since I am a Dakshana scholar now I feel that my all these hopes will be true soon. But I also believe that getting selected to Dakshana is the beginning of the journey to the success. I have to work harder than before on a regular basis to make my entry to the IITs. I will finally like to thank Dakshana foundation for such a noble work of educating the impoverished students like me and making them enter into the IITs and many prestigious medical colleges of India. I also thank my teachers, parents for supporting me till date. Finally, with the support of Dakshana I feel that IIT is not too far away. I just need regular and concentrated hard efforts from my side and lots of blessing from my parents, teachers etc.
