Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father's name is Arun Kumar Singh. He wants to become a politician and also does farming and other work. My mother, Shakuntla Devi, enjoys watching TV serials and chatting with friends. My sister, Riya Kumari, is pursuing a B.A. degree and helps my mother with household work. She also likes playing kabaddi.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I should be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship because I qualified for the Dakshana Selection Test and have the potential to succeed like IITians. If I am not selected, I will continue my JEE preparation at Aakash Institute in Daltonganj.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition is to study computer science at IIT and become a software developer. I want to earn a good package and make my family happy. My idols are M.S. Dhoni and my father.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I start earning, I will donate a portion of my salary to foundations that support students like me. I also want to help develop my village and provide sports equipment to young players who cannot afford it.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
When I was eight years old, my father was murdered. Watching my mother cry and struggle for us motivated me to study hard and do something meaningful in life.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I enjoy watching cricket and badminton matches, especially CSK games. My hobbies include playing cricket, badminton, reading newspapers, and watching Harry Potter movies.
