Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
I have 5 family members. My father's name is Pem Dorjee Sherpa. My mother's name is Kamal Maya Sherpa. My elder sisters' names are Chultin Sangmo Sherpa and Kesang Doma Sherpa. My father is a farmer, and my mother is a housewife. Both my sisters are studying.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I should be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship because, for someone like me who belongs to a middle-class family, it is very difficult to afford coaching for NEET. With my hard work, consistency, and Dakshana’s support, I will be able to fulfil my dream. If I am not selected as a Dakshana Scholar, I will work harder on myself.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
I want to serve society as a doctor.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
Many people living in rural areas do not receive good medical facilities. They face severe health issues, and it takes a lot of time to reach city hospitals. After I become successful, I will make people aware of these issues and set up a good clinic.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
My sisters are my real motivators. I worked very hard for my 10th board exams, but my marks were somewhat average. Since then, I decided to work even harder to achieve more.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I am interested in reading books and comics. Besides these, I love playing basketball.
