I'd like to become a Dakshana scholar and hopefully attend IIT

Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father's name is Mr. Ravindra Singh, and he is an advocate by occupation. My mother, Mrs. Dimple, is a housewife. My brother's name is Raghvendra Singh Shekhawat, and he is currently studying. We live with our grandparents.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
Dakshana selects scholars who are willing to give their best in academics but don’t have the resources. I think I should be awarded the scholarship because I am ready to work sincerely and dedicatedly to achieve my dreams. If I am not selected, I will prepare from other sources while staying at home.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
One of my ambitions in life is to give my parents all the luxuries and return more than what they have sacrificed for us. I want to achieve heights where people in need can count on me for any help.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I become successful, I would like to contribute to society by running campaigns to help needy people. I will try to start an organisation that provides food and shelter to underprivileged people.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
Not an incident, but whenever I look at my parents, the hope in their eyes that I will become successful one day motivates me like nothing else. When my 12th board results came, my father proudly told everyone, “Meri beti hai!” The eagerness to hear that sentence again and again and see my parents proud of my achievements inspires me.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I have a keen interest in dwelling into Indian history. Reading books and writing poetry are a few of my hobbies. I have developed interest in the Indian judiciary system and love reading about landmark cases and decisions.
