Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
I am Opika Biswas from West Bengal. My father is a security guard of a PVC pipe factory. My mother is a housewife and I am the single girl child .Their all hopes is for me , as I have no brothers, sisters .I have to fulfill their dreams .They struggle in their childhood but did not get any success ,they are struggling now too, for me ,so that I can study well . I want to fulfill their dreams , all responsibility is on me

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I was very glad that now I am a Dakshana scholar .At first , I was waiting for class 10th Dakshana , but that time I did not get chance , my name did not came, so I feel very depressed . In class 12th my name came , I thought that it was good for me because I get chance in Pune valley , to become part of that . I get better environment to study , as if I have to stay in home , so my family members ( other than parents) do not let me to study , they used to make chaos every time , so that I can not study , as I have to stay in home ,I do not have such a money to become a part of Allen or PW.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
Ambition is to become a DOCTOR . One of the best way to serve my nation with my fullest potential . I want to see my parents happy that I have become successful, for what they had done for me . When I was in class 8th or 9th , that time I was not too serious with this aim , but day by day I have started to feel the depth to become a Doctor . As in Corona time , they have did a lot for the country , so I also want to become a part of that .

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
I do not know how I will help the society , but I have some plans for that . I am not from rich family , so I know what poverty is. I will help all the poor children specially those who are not sending their daughters in schools just because of they are born only to do work in homes. I will visit oldage home, and want to help them a lot , so that for some last years of their life they stay happy and healthy and still planning...............

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
In my life there is no such a story . At first my family members does not like me just because of I am a girl child . They used to pinch my father why he is wasting money for me , instead of me he should give money to my brothers ( chacha ka beta ) .So , from that time I promised my mother , that I will definitely do better in my life , and I want to show them I am surely better than my brothers. It's my mother who grown me up with very much struggle . I want to return that happiness to my parents for what they are waiting for the years .

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
My hobby is drawing . But I have to leave that after I joined JNV . So , I thought that when I will become stable, I will continue with that. But in study time when I feel sleepy I used to draw.
