IIT's are one among the most prestigious institutions which provides world class education. Now a days getting into IIT's not only require brains but also money in our pocket but will all the bright minds be able to afford this? Yes, impoverished students like me won't even get an opportunity to get into such institutions unless monetary help is granted. Here,is the importance of non profitable organisations like dakshana which provide coaching at nil cost unlike any other coaching centers where money is a big factor.
Looking through another perspective, as i scroll through the rank list of JEE Advanced, I could find very very less number of girls in the list. Is it because girls can't do this? No, its because of perceptions,prejudices and preassumptions, of course, of ours as well as the society.
CHanging things or making things happen really seem to be difficult. But i think that there is no harm in trying as long as dakshana support me.
ANd there are lot of big engineers in india, great in this field, but useless to their society. As the man behind dakshana said, he wanted to feed the man for a lifetime." even i am ready to take this challenge,Even i want to do something for the society, I want to change things and make things happen and never forget from where i came from what i was and here, i would hopefully like to be a dakshana scholar.
