JNV Bengaluru Urban I'd like to become a Dakshana scholar and hopefully attend IIT
I'd like to become a Dakshana Scholar and hopefully attend IIT because it is the best thing that could ever have happened to me. I am very passionate about IIT?s since I heard about them a few years ago. I also heard that to make a mark in IIT?s one has to put in intense amounts of hardwork. What better way to start for it than Dakshana?
At first when everyone was talking about IIT?s I thought that they were exaggerating. Then, last year, I had a chance to visit IIT-Guwahati as a part of a programme called ?TECHNICHE?? There I saw that IIT?s promote overall development and not only studies. There were basketball courts, tennis courts, football ground and many other things. The lecture halls were awesome and the class rooms had AC?s!
When I saw these things, I felt that I had to return to IIT again, not as a visitor, but as it?s part. I always wanted to do more research in science. I want to study in one of the premier institutes of the country, where only the brightest in the country compete for a few coveted seats. I aspire to be one of the few.
I also admire Dakshana?s aim of alleviating poverty by providing quality education. I promise to help Dakshana in this endeavour if I am selected to an IIT.
It has been my dream to be an IItian and I will strive hard to reach my goal. By having coaching from a world class IIT-JEE coaching institute, I will try my level best to gain a good AIR. With Dakshana?s help, I would like to do some great research in IIT which will remove all poverty in India and make my country proud. This is my dream and I hope, I will make it a reality at all cost.
And if I fulfill my dream, then it will be due to Dakshana?s gesture of goodwill and the blessing of everyone near and dear to me, and I will never forget their help.
