JNV Kargil Ladakh I'd like to become a Dakshana Scholar and hopefully attend Medical College
Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father, Mohammad Ishaq, works in seasonal jobs to support our family financially. He is also a farmer, but the agricultural production is very low, so farming alone is not enough to meet our household needs. My mother is a housewife. I have two younger sisters, and both of them are studying. My immediate uncles are also hardworking people; one works as a seasonal labourer, while my maternal uncle serves as an army man.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I feel grateful for the opportunity to become a Dakshana Scholar. If I get selected, I will be able to prepare properly for NEET 2027 while studying at my Parent JNV. If I am not selected, there is a chance that I may not be able to appear for NEET because my family cannot afford expensive coaching. Even then, I will continue studying with full dedication and prepare on my own. Dakshana Scholarship will help me focus completely on my studies and achieve my goal. It will also reduce the financial burden on my family, and I will feel proud that my parents will not have to worry as much about my NEET coaching expenses.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition in life is to become an ideal person for my family and my village. More than becoming successful, I want to become an inspiration for my sisters and motivate them to achieve their dreams as well.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I become successful, I would like to donate some of my wealth and resources to orphanages and needy people. I also want to contribute to the education system and help students who lack opportunities. As a successful person, I will use my knowledge and skills to improve society in every possible way. Even a small contribution from my side can make a positive difference in someone’s life, and that is what I wish to achieve.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
There is no single incident that motivated me; rather, my motivation comes from my parents’ daily struggles. Every day, I see them returning home tired after working very hard just to provide us with basic needs like food and education. Their sacrifices and efforts inspire me to work harder and achieve success so that I can support them in the future. The difficulties they face are a constant source of motivation for me.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
Basically, I do not have any fixed hobbies, but sometimes I enjoy singing, dancing, painting, and writing poetry in Hindi whenever I am in the mood.
