Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
In our family, there are five members. My father, Harish K.N., is a tailor. My mother, Lakshmi, is a housewife. My sister is a class 8 student, and my grandmother also lives with us. Tailoring has been our family’s occupation for generations. My parents dream that I should earn well and lead a happy life since they know the difficulty of earning. My mother wants me to be happy and successful.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I think that I deserve a seat at the Dakshana Foundation. I am ready to put in as much effort as needed to fulfill my dream of getting into IIT. I worked hard in class 10, studying late into the night and learning additional topics from classes 11 and 12, along with high-level questions that might appear in the selection test. Hence, I feel I deserve this opportunity.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition in life is to get into IIT. After that, I want to join ISRO because I’m interested in becoming a scientist.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
I want to help poor members of our society by providing financial support. I would like to contribute to my family’s and society’s improvement. If I become an ISRO scientist, I can contribute to the entire nation.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
In class 9, I was sent to IIT and IIIT Dharwad for a Science Congress program. I participated in seminars and received the Orator and Best Presenter awards. Visiting IIT and various research institutions gave me a strong feeling that I must get into IIT and work hard to achieve success.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
My hobbies include playing chess, reading newspapers, walking in the evening, and painting.
