I’d like to become a Dakshana Scholar and hopefully attend IIT because it is my dream, it is my aim from my childhood to become an IITian and with passing time it is now becoming main goal of my life. I am a Navodayan. When I had come to Navodaya, that time I felt a large difficulty to cooperate with a new type of lifestyle. That was a turning point of my life. Slowly I learnt to struggle with my difficulties. From that time I have crossed every difficulty as a step to reach my goal, my dream is that to become an IITian and I know ?A thousand miles journey starts with a small step?. So though it seems to very far from me to become an IITian but step by step one day I will be. I also wanted to become a Dakshana Scholar because it was also a large step to come near my dream. And with my best effort I got it. I am belonging to a poor familt that my parents were not able to afford the cost of study in science team. If I did not got the opportunity to be a Navodayan and to be a Dakshana Scholar then I think I had to take Arts team and I could not study after class 12th and with time passes I would lost my dream. So from my core of heart I want to thanks Govt. of India and Dakshana. I want to pay back at least a small fraction of what they gave me. Dakshana gave me the opportunity to complete my aim. So with this best opportunity I will try my best to fulfil my dream. It can be very tough to achieve the goal but there is a thought that ?try and fail but never fail to try? and I know that by following this thought even after failing many times once I will make my dream to be real. Many people said that it is very difficult to study for a visually handicapped like me. But I never depressed myself about that. It is only difficulty that I am crossing everyday as a step to achieve my success and success never come easily. So with my best efforts once I will make my and my parent?s dream true. And I know, what I believe today from the core of my heart anything can not oppose me from doing that. I can do it.
