Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My name is Monika Singh Painkra. My father’s name is Late Mahamaya Singh Painkra, and my mother’s name is Maheshwari Singh Painkra. There are nine people in my house. My family does farming. I have a big daddy and big mommy, my mother, two brothers, and a sister. My brothers’ names are Abhimanyu and Puranjay, and my sister’s name is Srishti. I also have a grandfather and grandmother.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
If I was not selected as a Dakshana Scholar, I would have taken coaching in my own state, prepared for the exam, and tried to achieve my goal.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My goal is to pursue engineering in the future and go to an IIT.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I become successful, I will do something good for the children in my village. I will take care of their education and open a coaching centre for them.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
I am very motivated by my family and my teachers, and all of them inspire me because they have reached their positions by working hard. I am here today because of them.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
My hobbies are to play, study, dance and sing.
