Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father’s name is Mr. Mahendra Singh Barupal. My mother’s name is Mrs. Santosh. My sister’s name is Miss Pratima Barupal. We all love cracking jokes. My father is the only earner in the family and works as a farmer. My older cousin brother (chacha’s son) is a milkman and has four daughters and one son.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I need the Dakshana Scholarship, and I think that since I cracked the JDST, I am eligible to get this scholarship. If I had not been selected, then I would watch online lectures from Physics Wallah because it is not very expensive and the teachers teach in a unique way.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition in life is to earn enough money to overcome many problems caused by financial circumstances. I also want to give back to society if I am able to achieve my aim.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I become successful, I will buy a big piece of land in my area and grow many trees because my area has very little plantation. I will also contribute to old age homes and support them. I will motivate them to appear for JNV so they can learn many things.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
In all exams, I missed passing by just one rank, almost becoming the last ranker, and that feeling pushed me to study so I could achieve my aim. As Manish Sir says, “Nowadays jobs are the most difficult thing to get.” And when Dalchand Sir says, “Bas tum lagge raho,” it motivates me. But the biggest contributor to my motivation is the condition of my family and the hard work of my parents.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I love watching movies and web series, both Hindi dubbed and non-dubbed. I love cracking jokes and laughing loudly. In sports I love volleyball the most. When I understand concepts, I enjoy solving physics problems. I love biology and inorganic chemistry, which are made easy by Naqueeb Sir, Banwari Sir, and Bhuvneshwar Sir. I love talking to my JNV friends and cherish JNV moments. I also enjoy talking to girls.
