I'd like to become a Dakshana Scholar and hopefully attend Medical college

Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
I Manshi Priya belongs to a joint family of 16 members. My father is the eldest son of my grandfather before my two uncles. He takes responsibility of all members of my family. By profession he is a teacher. My mother is a housewife who along with my grandmother look after the only cow we have. One of my uncle and grandfather are engaged in farming. And my another uncle used to drive vehicles. My aunt used to take care of my siblings along with home. I am the eldest among all siblings and we all are studying. All my family members are very supportive and all are working hard to lift the family condition. And I also have to do the same.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I find myself to be a good student. I feel confident that I can clear this NEET exam under proper guidance of teacher. There is no good coaching in our area for such preparation and sending me out from my village would be a financial burden on my family. So I think given with Dakshana Scholarship. I will give my 100% to make my seat in Dakshana full effective. If I will not be selected as Dakshana Scholar, then I will take a drop and continue my preparation from online sources available on internet.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
I am aspiring very high beyond my limits. My ambition in life is continuously learning and acquiring knowledge to develop my skills. I don't want to limit myself in a single profession. Although I want to be a GOOD DOCTOR also I want to put forward Ayurvedic practices along with modern medicines. I want to give better health care to all at my all extent.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
I want give the best I have to this world in all possible way I can. For me, being successful would mean to acquire enough knowledge and skill so that I can pass it on to others. Also help them with this knowledge and skill. On becoming a doctor, my biggest contribution to the society would be my honesty and loyalty towards my profession. I will give my 100% to reduce health expenses of people and create a healthy society.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
My father and the NATURE always motivated me to do better, to improve myself in all the way. My father's struggle and way of thinking always inspired me. The faith of my father is one of the source of motivation for me. This I come to know when I got selected for JNV. I heard that my father was talking to someone that my daughter will always make feel proud on herself and she will do something big in future. The moment I heard this, I feel inner strength to do better everywhere I go.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I have keen interest in YOGA and want to be a good Yoga practitioner. Drawing, thinking and playing badminton are some of my leisure time activities. Books reading and psychology are fascinating me these days. I am very much interested in knowing nature and decoding its beauty. I get filled with positivity in the lap of nature.
