I'd like to become a Dakshana scholar and hopefully attend IIT because I have a dream to become an engineer but can?t fulfill it because of my economic status. I am a son of a teacher but my father cannot fulfill the requirement to pay for IIT coaching. I know very well of my family?s economic condition. This is why I want to join the Dakshana foundation. I considered Dakshana?s points and believe that I have a chance, if given proper guidance, to successfully clear the IIT-JEE examination. When I was a child, I used to see people in suits that spoke in English and worked in the mechanical field. I am interested in working in the scientific and mechanical field, where the latest technology is being used. I always heard about the IIT-JEE exam from relatives but did know much about it. I made it my goal that I would clear the IIT-JEE. However, this dream cannot be fulfilled without proper guidance and teaching environment. This is not present in my family so I need the Dakshana foundation scholarship program.
