I'd like to become a Dakshana scholar and hopefully attend IIT because I am very enthusiastic about IIT. I want to thank Dakshana for giving me this opportunity. As my economic background is weak I only thought of entering the NITs. However, now that it has become possible for me to dream of IITs, I am very happy. I would like to become a Dakshana scholar because I was very hurt that my father used to borrow money from others in the village to send me to school. At that time I used to dream in my heart that I would become the richest person in the village. I used to get very depressed when my father would tell me to bring things from the shop without giving me money. The shopkeeper would tell me to let my father know that he would add Rs 100 or Rs 150 to the previous amount.
I would like to thank my mother very much. She told me about the difficulties my father faced. This built a very competitive character in me. When I joined Novodaya, my mathematics knowledge was very poor, but my dear friend Devarj and Yavaraj helped me. I want to thank them.
Finally, I would like to thank my [ ] A.P Madhasudan who cleared most of my doubts in class. I would like to thank Mrs. Rani Shube who was my English teacher up to class 9 and prevented me from becoming lazy from class 8. I would like to thank Mr. B. J. Prakash Taj Kannada at my school who gave us all the information about IIT-JEE and other competitive exams in his regular period. I would like to thank all the people who have directly or indirectly have brought me to this situation in my life.
