Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
I am Laveesh Chauhan from Uttarakhand. There are 9 member in my family, My father name is Kishan Singh, my mother name is Usha Devi. My younger brother Piyush Chauhan and sister Tamanna Chauhan .To live my father do farming in my village and my mother is house wife, but she always help my father in farming. my brother and sister are studying in school. There are my four grand parents two Grandfathers and two grandmothers. as our family is joint family so, we lived together in home.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I think, I want to follow my passion as a engineer so,Iwant to prepare for JEE Exam. But can"t afford the fee of private coaching Institute, I think Dakshana is nice chance for for quality education as scholar.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition in my life is to help society as a good Engineer. Beyond that I want to work as engineer in DRDO. And I want to achieve all goals and my dreams after became successful. I want to make a Music Band with my Friends, We can perform together .
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
I would like to contribute to the society by Educating and inspiring the children from our tribal area. Besides, I want to bring awareness for better future of girls in backward areas so, they can make future of India . also I want make plastic free India so that pollution can reduce. I will aware the people for that so, they can understood disadvantage of non degradable things.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
In my life there are two incidence which always inspired ,e to do better. When I was in 10 class Tribal Ministry Give me a chance to meet president of india in Rashtrapati bhavan. I give a nice Performance in front of them. When i made a silence project it was selected for national. After that i wrote my first research paper which is proud for my parents. last my inspiration are my parents and there hard work which give me power to anything
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
My interest is in science and technology. i like to do experiments and play with machines. I like to spend my free time by playing musical instruments and my favourite one is flute.
