JNV Rohtak Haryana I'd like to become a Dakshana scholar and hopefully attend IIT
Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
There are six members in my family. My father, Jitender, is a poor farmer and works very hard to provide a better life for us. My mother, Renu, is a housewife. My elder sister, Parul, is an undergraduate student pursuing B.Sc Physical Science. My grandparents also live with us. They do not have specific likes or dislikes. Everyone in my family performs their duties in their own way.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I am passionate about my aim and my goal. I am ready to dedicate myself to this journey so that I can achieve it. Even if I do not get this scholarship, I will not stop chasing my dream. I am thankful to Dakshana Foundation for giving me this opportunity.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition in life is to give a better life to my family. I want to change my family’s condition and give them relief from the difficulties they faced. My dream is to become an IITian. Becoming an IITian is just a short-term goal; my long-term goal is to start my own tech company.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
My contribution may not be much in terms of money because from class 6 to 12, I studied through someone else’s contribution, and now I am preparing for IIT again through someone else’s contribution. So whatever I will do will be my return to society. I truly want to build an institute that provides “the best education” to needy candidates free of cost. I hope I will definitely do it.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
There is no such special incident that I should describe here. My family is waiting for me to be successful just to say proudly, ‘That’s my child.’
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
My hobbies are creating memories even when I am in deep sorrow or in a jolly mood. I like listening and singing music. I also like reading novels.
