Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My family consists of four people—my father, mother, my sister, and me. My father is a daily wage worker, and my mother is a beedi worker. My sister is studying in class 6. My parents wanted to study but couldn't due to circumstances in their time. Their dream is to educate me and my sister. I have three uncles—one is a broker, one is a daily wage worker, and one is a mechanic.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
Dakshana Scholarship is awarded to talented students who cannot focus on their career due to various limitations. I cleared JDST and got into Dakshana because I believe the path laid by Dakshana will help me become an IITian. If I had not been selected, I would be studying in an NIT with a branch I did not like.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My subject of interest being Mathematics, I want a good branch that supports my interest and also helps me feed my family.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
I want to spread awareness among the children of rural areas about the opportunities they have and guide them on a path to reach their goals.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
My father is my biggest motivation. He never showed the hardships he faced. Seeing him motivates me a lot.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I like to read novels and solve puzzles like Sudoku in my free time.
