Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father's name is Khirud Pegu. His occupation is cultivation. My mother's name is Gunalata Pegu. She is a housewife. My sister's name is Kaberi Pegu. She is a 4th-year student at IIT Guwahati. She also attended the 2-year Dakshana programme at JNV Bundi Dakshana. My family is really supportive and rooting for me

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
Considering my financial condition, Dakshana is the best organisation for me to fulfil my aim as it helps needy students achieve their goals free of cost with the best quality education. I am grateful for this opportunity. If I were not selected, I would probably have joined a college for further studies.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition in life is to become a good and successful doctor, to make my parents proud, and to give them a happy and comfortable life.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
If I become a doctor, I will contribute to society through my hard work and service. Even if I go into another field, I will do my best for the well-being of society.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
There is no particular incident for my motivation. The hard work and efforts of my parents to make our future better are enough to motivate me to work harder.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I have many interests but not a particular hobby. For example, I like sketching, singing, dancing, playing a few sports, and listening to music in my leisure time.
