Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father's name is Santosh Swain. He is working in a gas repairing shop. He is very hard working person. He is short-tempered but frequently crack jokes. My mother's name is Sanju Swain. She is very caring and hardworking. She is one of the reason I want to do better in my life so that I can give her the happiness which she can't afford due to any obstacle. My sister 's name is Jayasree Swain. She is doing his graduation in BSc Botany from government college. She is very sweet. She is also very hardworking like me. She is a good girl, always try to share with us

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I think I am worth it. I am preparing for JEE from the mid of 11th class in the hope of getting a good college then getting a high paying job and improving the lifestyle of my family. I have restricted myself from buying many things just because I don't want to waste money on not so important things. I have to control myself from many enjoyments. From my childhood, we family of four members were living in a small room. I know the up and downs of living their. I have the aim to earn money and help others who can't fulfill their daily needs also. If I was not selected to be a dakshana scholar then I would have joined in our local government college and simultaneously preparing for 2nd attempt

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition in life is simple, working hard then going to good IIT with good branch, then getting a high paying job, earning money in crores, helping people in need.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I would become successful, I will like to help children like me so that money can't stop their willingness to do better. I got scholarship but there are many students who want to do hard work but don't get a chance. If they get a chance then they will definitely do better in their life and for the country. I want to give these students the chance they deserve. I will also help poor peoples and beggers by not just giving them money, but the way they can earn money by themselves, so that they can sleep without empty stomach.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
My whole life is a motivation for me. From my childhood when our family was living just in a room, when I was restricted from buying many things, that time I used to be angry with my parents but as I grew up I came to know that how hard work they are so that we can do better. From that I was determined to earn so much money that I could buy anything I want. so I decided to study hard and crack IIT.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I like to read novels, listen to songs, dance, play outdoor, indoor and mobile games, exploring new places, watching movies and web series, quarreling with my sister, cooking.
