Kabir

JNV Kanpur Dehat Uttar Pradesh
I'd like to become a Dakshana Scholar and hopefully attend Medical College

Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father, mother, and elder sister live with me in a small town, Moosanagar, Kanpur Dehat, Uttar Pradesh. My father works as a farmer and is the backbone of our family. Most of the time, he cannot spend time with us due to work. My mother is a real superhero for me; she is a housewife and my first teacher. My elder sister is two years older than me but is like my second mother. She is graduating in B.Tech (3rd year). Most of the knowledge about education and behaviour, I learned from her.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I think I am the right person for this scholarship because I want to achieve a reputed rank in NEET 2026, and that moment will be a moment of pride for my family and also for Dakshana. Apart from this, I have no other option to continue my studies well because I am not financially capable. If I am not selected as a Dakshana Scholar, it will be a harsh moment for me, but I will gather courage and resilience to clear NEET under any conditions with my family’s support.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My life has been full of complications, challenges, and tough situations, which is why I have developed purposeful spirituality. These experiences act like the germinating seeds of life’s path. We all want to become doctors, but my real ambition is to stay true to my principles and my responsibility to serve humanity and mankind. Ambitions have no end — as we move ahead, we should refine our thinking and become better human beings.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
From my perspective toward the medical profession, it will be a moment of honor for me to become successful and hold so many lives in my hands. I belong to a rural area where people cannot get proper medical facilities in emergencies. Due to lack of money and high hospital charges, they cannot tolerate such situations. That is why I am very keen to reduce these dark parts of people's lives.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
I belong to a financially backward class. Nowadays, it is very difficult to survive smoothly for these kinds of people because very few people are there to listen to our problems for our support. Poverty is behaving like a curse with us. Not only for me, I have seen a lot of people going through this typical situation. So to overcome this, to see the satisfaction in our parents' eyes, I am inspired more and more to do better.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I am fond of reading story and spiritual books and novels. I love exploring nature when I get time from studies, which gives me peace in this rushing world. I am also a little overthinker.
