JNV Dausa Rajasthan I'd like to become a Dakshana scholar and hopefully attend IIT
Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
I am from a small family. There are four members in my family, including me. My father's name is Rakesh Kumar Bairwa. He has a degree in M.A. and works as a mason. My father's occupation is irregular throughout the year. My mother's name is Saroj. She is 12th pass and a housewife. My brother's name is Deepak Kumar Bairwa. He is also 12th pass.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
First of all, this scholarship is only for deserving students from weak economic backgrounds. As I have passed this scholarship test and belong to a weak economic background, I think I deserve to be a Dakshana scholar. If I were not selected for the Dakshana scholarship, then also I would try my best for JEE Mains and Advanced.
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My short-term goal is to crack JEE Advanced and secure a seat in a reputable IIT like IIT Bombay. My long-term ambition is to become an IAS officer and give my parents the happiest and most comfortable life. I want to improve my family's economic background and build a big dream home to live happily with my parents.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
When I become successful, there are many ways by which I will contribute to society. First of all, I will become a responsible citizen. I will help those students who have talent but, due to weak finances, can't get sufficient chances to prove themselves. I will act against every type of discrimination and corruption. I will also donate financially to Dakshana and many other institutes like it.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
There are many instances that have inspired or motivated me to do better. Mostly, my weak financial background and my father's hard work motivated me to work hard on my studies. In my childhood, when I heard about Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, I was very inspired by him. His hard work stories always kept me motivated and made me believe I can also achieve my goals through hard and smart work.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
In sports, I like to play basketball and volleyball. I like reading novels by great authors. I also like painting, sketching, and gardening.
