Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
I live in a small nuclear family. My father’s name is Mr. Achyutanand Sahu, and he runs a photocopy/photo shop for a living. My mother’s name is Mrs. Renu Sahu, and she is a housewife. My sister, Aishwarya Sahu, is studying in Class 10 this year and likes drawing landscapes.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
I think I deserve this Dakshana Scholarship for NEET preparation because I belong to a rural area where people are not very educated and are lower middle class. I am hardworking and dedicated towards my ambition, and I know that in one year drop, I can clear NEET with AIR < 100. If I do not get this scholarship, I will prepare for NEET through other scholarship programs like PW NSAT.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
My ambition in life is to become a good person and give all facilities to my parents so they feel proud. I want to complete all the desires I dream today. I want that proud moment when, after the NEET result, they proudly say, “I am the father of a successful doctor.”

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
I will contribute to society and the world in multiple ways when I become successful. I will spread awareness about education and its importance in today’s time. I will serve my country as a doctor (cardiologist). I will treat poor people at low cost.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
There are two incidents in my life: In the COVID pandemic, I had heard about many people getting affected day by day. Even some relatives were affected by COVID, and at that time doctors were seen as God who was saving the lives of many people. That inspired me to become a doctor. When I was selected in Navodaya, my parents were very happy and felt proud. They proudly told others that their child is in Navodaya. I want that proud moment again when my parents say my son is the All India Topper of NEET.

Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
I like reading stories, comics, and fantasy stories like Harry Potter. I also like travel, adventure, and exploring natural beauty and waterfalls. I want to explore these places all over India. I like watching movies.
