Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father’s name is Devappa. He is a farmer and 52 years old. My mother’s name is Laxmavva Lamani. She is a daily labourer. I have three sisters. My elder sister is 21 years old and doing GNM Nursing in my district. My two younger sisters are studying in government colleges. My father is hardworking and whenever he gets time, he wants to spend it with family. My sisters like watching serials. I am very interested in listening to songs.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
It holds diamond value for a boy like me. I am from a middle-class family whose income depends on daily wages. I should be awarded the scholarship to improve my family’s and my village’s condition. If I do not get this scholarship, I may do a B.Sc Agriculture course in my neighbourhood.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
To make my family free from debt.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
I will serve society with full dedication to my field of work. I will mainly focus on poor families.

Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better
The moment when my father cried because of family debt made me extremely emotional. From that day onward, I took an oath to make my family debt-free.

I am interested in bike riding and listening to songs.
