My father's name is Gauri Rongmei he is 50+ years old he works in NIT Silchar in civil department as a lab assistant he likes planting and cooking.My mother's name is ajin Rongmei she is 48 years old she is a housewife.My brother's name is Ningthui Rongmei he is 16 years old and is in 10th standard at my parent JNV.My sister's name is Lanjai Rongmei she is 21 years old she is about to start her nursing course at my hometown

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
Because I was selected in DAKSHANA Scholarship exam and it would be hard for my parents to afford the coaching fees as I also have an elder sister and a younger brother who are both students.If not selected as a DAKSHANA Scholar I would have completed my higher secondary education and do my level best to Crack scholarship exams like DAKSHANA,S-30 etc and if not selected I would have gone for online coaching

My ambition in life to become a Doctor

I would like to contribute to the society by funding scholarship programs like DAKSHANA who provide the best coaching to the students who have potential

I have seen one of my super senior of my tribe who is now a neuro surgeon and gets respected by others.I want to make my parents feel proud and to treat the needy who cannot afford the high costing facilities which I will be able to provide after becoming a doctor

I like watching video related to history and sci-fi. I like listening music and love playing badminton
